Elsie is one of those rare horses that you can work and then put a child on her and she goes from touchy "work" mode to gentle calm mode with the child. There are really so few of these type of horses. Of all my wonderful Curlies that love children and the Curlies we have raised through the years we have only had a handful of these amazing Curlies that can just turn it off then right back on. That is not to say the others were not good kids horses, the few special ones just knew when a child was on them and it was a noticeable difference.
