Well, I have been threatening to start a blog, so here goes....
I have so many stories of crazy things my siblings and I did in our youth, the best of them being horseback. So I have started this with the intention of sharing those crazy stories that will make you worry every time your child goes riding, lol.
To start off with, I am number 10 of 11 children and we were raised very old fashioned. We raised most all of the food we ate, milked cows, and canned and dried the food for winter storage . We worked hard but I now know to appreciate the life lesson I was receiving.
My earliest memory of riding was this crazy (well I think she was crazy) Quarter Horse/Arab mare that had previously been abused. We could only ride her with an adult leading and she had this big issue with patience, but she was our horse and I loved her anyway.
